A is for Amazing:

With the nostalgia trend machine in full over-drive it is no surprise that A-line minis (a staple of 60's era YSL and Dior) are back and popping up at retailers world wide. This is a versatile look that works for almost anyone depending on styling choices. Here are two ways to style the same Top Shop skirt which will have you Spring ready whether you are being weekend casual or office professional...

Jeggings are so 2010....

With the new year comes of course new trends. Although the 70's trend has been showing us wider (and thankfully more forgiving) cuts of pants, the skinny isn't going anywhere soon. With jeggings still in heavy outfit rotation, it only seemed a matter of time before jeather got in on the action.

Ultra slim leather leggings seem out of reach? With a situation appropriate blouse, the right heels, and the perfect Melie Bianco bag they are actually the perfect piece to take you from office to casual daytime to glam evening in a single day. The proof is in the paparazzi shots:

Here is Mary-Kate looking like the uber-chic business mogul that she is:

Here is Mary-Kate once again. This time she adds a hipster spin with a few well placed ironic accessories, and totally nails the casual/cool vibe with (possibly?) the same pants:

And finally for evening we have the ever gorgeous Kate Bosworth:

The neutral top, accessories, and hair really let the pants stand out and keep her from venturing into Eddie Murphy circa Delirious territory...

So what do you think ladies, jeather.....yay or nay?

That 70's Show

Although the runways for Spring 2011 may have sent a few mixed messages, one thing was apparent....the 70's are back and bigger than ever.

With influences running the gamut from Taxi Driver era Jodie Foster, to boho babes, to Studio 54 era glam girls there is a lot to choose from.

If you are ready to channel the decade of disco, why wait until Spring?
